FASHION FOR A CHANGE!
Based on a daily subject; we all know that global warming is affecting our planet..and thank god fashion is getting involved and its trying to reduce damage by making eco-friendly collections.
From recycling stuff and creating unbelievable outfits with it, such as news paper, candy wrappers,cartboard; to designing entire collections based on susteinable elements,compostable materials,organic & recycled fabrics and low impact dye.
it makes me so proud that certain people in such an influential industry like fashion is; its actually trying to reduce impact on our nature! Remembering the Fashion Week last year, there was a 2 day-event for eco-fashion where we can see designers like LARA MILLER,a Chicago-based designer who created her spring 2010 collection with materials like organic cotton, hand-loomed wild-harvested bamboo, raw silk organza and recycled cotton fibers, also we can see STELLA MCCARTNEY, who is always inspired by this extraordinary movement and created an entire collection as well.
